History of Media based Arts
- Experimentation with audio and visual technologies in art dates back to the 19th century. As new technologies have emerged, artists have integrated photography, film, radio, television, computers and the Internet into their artistic practices. Created during diverse historical periods, the components of the artworks illustrate an integral aspect of our relationship with technology and its evolution.

Media based Arts for us is basically art that has a twist in it. The twist is the word “media” because it is used with the help of a modern device that stores received and sent information.
Photography

- the act of taking and printing photographs
- the process of producing images of objects on photosensitive surfaces
- the occupation of taking and printing photographs or making movies

Photography for us is an action performed in taking pictures with the help of a device called a camera.
Print Media

- one of the oldest and basic forms of communication. It includes newspapers, weeklies, magazines, monthlies, banners & graphics, posters and other forms of printed material
- provides information and transfers knowledge to another

Print Media for us is a very old and traditional way of transferring and storing knowledge in a form of words and pictures.
Innovations in Product and Industrial Design

- Product Design – consists in imagining and creating objects meant for mass production. The definition encompasses the physical aspects as well as the functionalities products should possess.
- Industrial Design – strategic problem-solving process that drives innovation, builds business success, and leads to a better quality of life through innovative products, systems, services, and experiences.
